Paraplegic Racer Tim Totherow to attempt Brickdirt Nationals

Paraplegic Racer Tim Totherow and team T39racer will be making the 9 hour trip from their home in Tennessee to Clary's Speedway for the 2nd Annual Brickdirt Super Street Nationals. The team has had a good year with several top 5 finishes, most of which were runner up spots, and hope to get their first feature win of 2008 at Clary's. With multiple heat wins this year the team feels confident they have a good chance at making the race and even a shot at a top 5 finish in The Brickdirt Nationals. Tim stated last week when we sent the entry form in that "We want to compare our Super Street program with the best in the country to see how we stack up and what better place than Clary's because we know the heavy hitters will be there". Tim and the team invite everyone to stop buy and say hello. We look foward to having a great time and eating some of those hot dogs we've read so much about at the cookout Friday night.
Tim wanted to say a special thanks to his family and friends for all they have done to help him realize his dream of racing again after a construction accident left him an incomplete paraplegic in May 2006. "If it wasn't for the Lord, my family, friends, the support of the fans, and our sponsors none of this would be possible" said Tim earlier this year and he feels blessed to be able to accomplish something he and the doctors thought would never happen. You can read more about Tim and the t39 team on his website www.t39racer.com and we'll see ya at the races.

Thanks and God Bless

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of our mother Virginia Rose Totherow. Mom went home to be with our Lord on May 19 and is in a wonderful place now. We are thankful to the good Lord that mom didn't have to suffer very much because it was only a short two months from the time she was diagnosed till her passing. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the overwhelming support and prayers that our family recieved and continues to recieve from our family, church family, and racing family. All of you have been a blessing.
                                                 May God Bless,

It is with great pleasure that T39racer announces a wonderful event in the life of our dear friend Michael Nease. As of today Michael has been released on parole to the Otis Nixon On-Track Center where he will transition back into a productive member of society, will continue the Racin For The Kingdom Prison Ministry through inmates trained by Michael. Not only will that phase of the minitry continue but Michael has shared that the Lord has laid on his heart to start another Bible study/support group for recently paroled inmates, such as himself. Tim and the entire T39 racing team will continue to support the minitry and encourage Michael with this new and exciting phase of his life. Michael we love you and God Bless.
2014
After running a very limited schedule for the past two racing seasons the t39 racing team is hoping to compete in several events for the 2014 racing year. Tim had carpel tunnel surgery in December 2013 and after recovery has to have rotator cuff surgery as well. The 2014 season will start out with a limited schedule, but after recovery from his repetitive stress injuries caused by over-use in his wheelchair, the team hopes to get back on the winning track.
